Reflections

This has been a week of reflection for me. I've had the opportunity to witness God's strength and power through wind, waves, storms, and quiet.

I've read a couple of books that challenged my need to be in control. Through the storytelling, the characters make the choice to rely on God to direct their paths instead of forging ahead and instead of wringing their hands in crippling fear.

The stories and nature remind me that we know He is in control! We know He is mighty! Our heads are well aware. Our hearts are not always so intuitive.

This coming week, let's turn it over to His capable hands and trust that the one who rules over the surging sea can certainly rule in our lives and direct our paths. #FaithfulFriday
